Regarding information by which the relevant person can be identified (hereinafter referred to as “Personal Information”) that will be collected through our operations for work through “fiscal year 2019, spearheading an advanced business diffusion model (King Salmon Project) (hereinafter referred to as “the Project),” a consignment project of Tokyo Metropolitan Government, the Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting LLC (hereinafter referred to as “the Corporation”) recognizes the importance of personal information protection and will handle it based on the following policies and principles:

  1. Acquisition of Personal Information
    The Corporation will properly acquire Personal Information, never through illegal means.
  2. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
    The Corporation will comply with the Personal Information Protection Law, related government agency guidelines, and other laws and regulations related to the proper handling of Personal Information.
  3. Use of Personal Information
    1. The Corporation will use the acquired Personal Information only for the specified purposes. Before using Personal Information for other purposes, consent from the individual will be required.
    2. The Corporation will specify the purpose of collecting Personal Information in advance. If the purpose changes, consent from the individual will be required.
    3. The Corporation may entrust the handling of Personal Information to third parties when carrying out the Project. In such cases, the Corporation will enter into a contract regarding the handling of Personal Information and will properly manage it.
  4. Providing Personal Information to Third Parties
    When providing Personal Information to a third party, excluding cases in conflict with laws and regulations, the Corporation will request the consent of the person beforehand. Personal information will not be provided to a third party without the consent of the person concerned.
  5. Safety Management System of Personal Information
    1. In order to prevent the loss, falsification, leakage, etc. of Personal Information, the Corporation will take appropriate control measures regarding the handling of Personal Information, including information security, and will make an effort to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, loss and falsification of Personal Information.
    2. In order to properly manage Personal Information, the Corporation will appoint a chief administrator to ensure appropriate management.
    3. The Corporation will regularly review the management system and procedures in regard to the protection of Personal Information and will strive for continuous improvement.
    4. The Corporation will provide training to employees and staff who handle Personal Information regarding the proper protection and management of Personal Information, and ensure proper handling of Personal Information in the Project.
  6. Disclosure, Revision and Suspension of Use
    When a request is made by a person to disclose or correct his/her own Personal Information, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law, the Corporation will respond appropriately to the laws and regulations.
